Chemical storage for drums, IBC tanks and carboys

We store chemicals in the packaging your supply chain already uses, with careful handling at every receipt and dispatch.

Packaging decides much of how a chemical is stored. A 200-litre drum, a 1,000-litre IBC tank and a small carboy each need different handling, different stacking and different care during loading. Pratish Logistics stores chemicals in all of these formats at our Bhiwandi warehouse, so you can keep one storage partner across your product range.

Packaging formats we handle

  • Chemical drums, the most common format for liquid chemicals.
  • IBC tanks, the intermediate bulk containers used for liquids in larger volumes.
  • Carboys, for liquid chemicals in smaller containers.
  • Bags, for powders, granules and solid raw materials.
  • Other industrial containers, including tins, pails and cartons.

All chemical storage is subject to product compatibility, facility suitability and applicable safety and regulatory requirements. We confirm these for each product before storage starts.

Careful handling at receipt and dispatch

Most damage to packaged chemicals happens while containers are being moved. Our operational team handles drums, IBCs and carboys every day, and every receipt is checked against your delivery documents before it is accepted into stock.

Outward orders are picked against the stock record, loaded and dispatched as instructed. You get the material you asked for, in the condition it arrived.

Container-level records

Our customised warehouse software records stock by product, batch and packaging type. If you hold the same chemical in drums and in IBCs, the record shows both separately. This makes reconciliation simple and helps you plan reorders before stock runs short.

Before you send material

To plan storage we need a few details:

  1. Product names and the MSDS/SDS for each chemical.
  2. Packaging type and size.
  3. Approximate number of containers and expected storage duration.
  4. How often material will move in and out.

With these we can check compatibility, plan the layout and give you a clear proposal.

Who uses this service

Chemical manufacturers, traders and distributors use our drum and IBC storage to hold buffer stock near Mumbai, to stage material for dispatch, or to free up space at their own plants. Paint, coatings and polymer businesses also use it for their liquid raw materials.

Share your packaging mix and quantities with us, and we will tell you how we would store it.
