Storage space is only half of warehousing. The other half is knowing, at any moment, exactly what you have and where it is. Pratish Logistics runs inventory management on its own customised warehouse software, so every client has clear, current stock records.
What the software does
Our warehouse management software maintains stock records and tracks inventory movements. For each client it records:
- Products, batches and packaging types held in stock.
- Every inward receipt, entered against the delivery documents.
- Every outward dispatch, picked against the stock record.
- Internal stock movements within the warehouse.
Because every movement is entered as it happens, balances stay current without waiting for a month-end count.
Inward and outward operations
Inventory management is tied to daily operations. Our in-house team of warehouse managers, operational labour and administrative staff handles:
- Material receipt: checking incoming material against documents and recording it.
- Storage: placing stock in an organised layout so it can be found and picked quickly.
- Order handling: picking orders against the record.
- Dispatch: loading and sending material as instructed.
Why it matters for chemical stock
Chemical and industrial materials are often tracked by batch and packaging. A business may hold the same product in drums and IBCs, or several batches with different dates. Clear records make it easier to rotate stock, reconcile orders and answer questions from customers quickly.
Stock information for clients
Stock records are shared with clients so they can plan purchases and sales. If you need a particular report or format for your own accounts, tell us during onboarding and we will discuss what can be provided.
Experience and systems together
Software alone does not keep stock accurate. It works because an experienced team uses it consistently every day. With over three decades of industry experience behind the company, we treat accurate records as part of the service, not an extra.
Send us your requirement to discuss how we would store and track your material.
